It’s launch day, and we’re excited for fans all over the world to get their hands on WWE 2K26.
And for the first time ever, our first set of post-launch DLC Superstars are available on Day 1 by way of Season 1 of the Ringside Pass*. For a quick refresher on how the Ringside Pass works, check out our dedicated Ringside Report.
In this Ringside Report, we’re going to dig into the content available in Season 1, so let’s start with our brand-new Superstars.
Each Ringside Pass will feature four new Superstars as part of the Premium track, and kicking things off are a couple of the top luchadores from AAA:
- Hijo del Vikingo
- Lady Flammer
- Mr. Iguana
- Psycho Clown
As with every Season, there are automatic rewards in the first Tier, while the rest are unlockable as players progress through the Ringside Pass.
Hijo del Vikingo is the automatic reward from the Premium track.
As part of the new playable luchadores, players will get over 40 new moves and taunts, including Mr. Iguana’s Helicopter Troll Spin, Psycho Clown’s Pop-Up KO, Lady Flammer’s Flammer Drive, and Vikingo’s Springboard 450.
The Premium track of each Ringside Pass will also include at least 2 Personas, and Season 1 brings with it an alt of Stephanie Vaquer in her blue gear, and a Mattel Elite playable of Jacob Fatu.
Beyond new playable characters, Season 1 also includes some additional AAA-themed content including:
- TripleMania XXXIII Arena
- Worlds Collide Arena
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
- AAA Mega Championship
- La Yezka Mask
- AAA MyFACTION Content
- AAA Island Banners
As for the Free Track, available to all players, Legends, retro arenas, and classic championships previously available as part of the SuperCharger DLC, are now earnable via the Ringside Pass, such as Kurt Angle, The Fiend, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and more.
In the below infographic, we highlight a few rewards from each track:
We also wanted to highlight some changes we’re applying to the Ringside Pass. We’'ve seen the player experience not being what's intended, so we've implemented some changes with Patch 1.04 including the below:
- Custom Matches will now award RXP.
- RXP earn rates for matches increased by 20%
- Match Complete: 25 (current) > 30
- Match Win Bonus: 85 (current) > 105
- Minimum match time requirement added for Match Win RXP rewards
- If a match is completed faster than 60 seconds, players will receive completion RXP, but not additional win bonuses. We know you're enjoying making Eric Bischoff tap out but let's give poor "Eazy E" a breather.
Overall, we hope these changes support a wider variety of match types and playstyles and help keep the experience fun and rewarding for everyone.
Inclusive of Custom Matches, the below are the supported modes that provide RXP:
- Play Now
- Universe
- MyRISE
- Showcase
- MyGM
- MyFACTION
- The Island
On the flipside, you will not earn RXP if:
- The match is in Online Lobbies
- The match had two or more local human players
- The match was with one or more of the your friends through the service being used (Steam, PSN, Xbox, etc.)
- The match was run through an online lobby
- You didn't directly participate in the match (examples include when it was simulated or entirely run by AI superstars)
- The exception to this is Universe Watch Mode
- You quit or disconnected from the match
- Anytime you're not online for part or all of the match
We hope everyone enjoys the updated experience within the Ringside Pass as well as the content itself!
