WWE 2K26 is bringing exciting new updates to every game mode, and now it’s time to talk about MyGM!
DRAFT
One new addition to the draft is that players can now easily sort by ring level.
MATCHES
WWE 2K26 ups the ante by introducing a significant increase in supported match types and rules into this year’s MyGM.
As part of that increase and in addition to all the match rules we have supported in the past, we’re now supporting 5, 6, and 8-way matches, including handicap-type matches. The following match rules are now available in GM:
- 5 - Way
- 6 - Way
- 3 vs 3
- Triple Threat Tag
- 8 - Way
- 4 vs 4
- Fatal Four Way Tag
- 1 vs 2
- 1 vs 3
- 1 vs 4
In addition to all our previous match types, MyGM will also feature the following match types to choose from on a weekly basis:
- Ladder Match
- Battle Royal
- Bloodline Rules
- I Quit
- Inferno
- Dumpster
- 3 Stages of Hell
SCHEDULING SHOWS & MANAGING ROSTER
For this year’s MyGM, we are also introducing support for intergender matches, which opens up even further options when booking shows. Intergender matches do require small additional costs to utilize, so players will want to be strategic with how and when they put on shows.
We’re also adding support for custom championships for offline play! Custom championships are fully customizable. If you want to use women's belts for men’s championships, go ahead. If you want the same championship for every title, you can! If you want to use custom-created belts, you can do that too!
Another new feature is double-booking, meaning players can now have a Superstar cut a promo and still be put in a match. Bear in mind It does reduce stamina costs for that superstar even further. As always, MyGM focuses on management and strategy, so double booking means that the promo location on your show is more important than ever. Which means we have introduced canceled promos. If a Superstar is double-booked in a match and a promo and injured before their promo is scheduled, the promo will be canceled, and the effects voided. With those 50 weeks, injury times have also increased, so be sure to protect your roster!
For players who are getting competitive against their friends, we are making some updates to Power Cards. For starters, players can now trade Power Cards during trade weeks. In prior years, players were given 5 slots for Superstar trades, and this year, we’ve replaced 2 of those slots to fill with Power Cards.
For players who aren’t major fans of power cards and want fewer of them, or for fans who want a more strategic GM experience, there is also a new settings option to disable the Power Card Store when setting up your game. This means that Power Cards in this setting can still be earned, via perks, commissioner goals, seasonal challenges, etc., but they cannot be purchased directly from the store.
Last year, we introduced the timer to amp up the difficulty level during show bookings, but we heard from the community that having it start immediately was a bit much. This year, the timer will get paused before your week starts and require you to manually start your week, giving players some mental time and stability to prepare before booking their week.
Lastly, when playing or spectating matches, entrances can now be disabled, allowing players to get into the action quicker!
PROMOS
In addition to canceled promos, we have also introduced Invasion promos. You can send a star to attack an opposing brand in an attempt to steal some of their fans. The amount of fans stolen is based on superstars promo skills. A good promo will net you fans, a bad promo will make your brand look bad and potentially cause you to lose fans.
MID SEASON PUSH
With 50-week seasons, we wanted to make sure that players had the opportunity to prepare some of their superstars for the last half of the season. After week 25 of each season, each brand will have the chance to select up to 6 superstars from their roster to boost both their stamina and morale. If you are familiar with how keepers work, you should be right at home here.
THE GENERAL MANAGERS
Of course, you can’t manage a brand without the actual General Managers. In WWE 2K26, we are adding three new managers to the mix - Bobby Heenan, Stacy Keibler, and the Anonymous General Manager for a full GM roster of 20 GMs. Below is the full list of GMs:
- Adam Pearce
- Nick Aldis
- Paul Heyman
- Stephanie McMahon
- Xavier Woods
- Tyler Breeze
- Eric Bischoff
- Mick Foley
- William Regal
- Teddy Long
- Bobby Heenan (New)
- Ava
- Shawn Michaels
- Sensational Sherri
- Miss Elizabeth
- Stacy Keibler (New)
- Mr. Fuji
- CM Punk
- Anonymous General Manager (New)
- Custom GM
When choosing GMs, we are also adding the option for random GMs and Brand selections.
GMs who are playable within the game and have move sets are now available to draft with no restrictions. This means you can play as CM Punk as your GM AND CM Punk on your roster! Yes, this also means they will sometimes receive requests from themselves!
